St. Bartholomew’s Church

Designed by Bertam Goodhue and constructed in 1916, St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church is an Individual New York City Landmark and National Historic Landmark. Nicholson & Galloway was contracted to conduct a partial façade and roof restoration as follows:

  • 1,200 square feet face brick replacement
  • 750 square feet of paint and stain removal with chemical cleaner
  • 19,000 square feet of chemical façade cleaning
  • 300 linear feet of brick crack repair
  • 36 granite columns replaced
  • 41 granite dutchman repairs
  • 25 limestone dutchman repairs
  • 9,700 square feet of brick repointing
  • 10,000 square feet of stone repointing
  • 2,000 square feet of marble polishing
  • 2,000 square feet of Siplast roof coating
  • 46 wood windows restored
