The Lotos Club

Description

Designed by architect Richard Hunt as a private residence, the Lotos Club is an Individual NYC Landmark and was constructed in 1900. When an exterior restoration and mechanical system replacement was required, Nicholson & Galloway was contracted to perform the following work:

  • 4,375 square feet of brick and limestone cleaning
  • 66 linear feet of parapet and spandrel beam reconstruction
  • 142 linear feet of iron & brass railing restoration
  • 50 linear feet of copper cheneau replication
  • 775 square feet of new slate and 4 copper dormers restored
  • 3,300 square feet of torch applied Siplast roofing
  • Replacement of all rooftop mechanicals and dunnage
