Chrysler Building

Description 

The 17th Floor parapet on this iconic skyscraper was in dangerous condition and required rebuilding. Due to the Individual Landmark status of the building it was critical that all existing Georgia Marble was salvaged and reused. Nicholson & Galloway was hired to perform the following work:

• 625 linear feet of railing removal and reinstallation
• 625 linear feet of Georgia Marble removal and reinstallation
• 625 linear feet of shelf angle replacement
• 625 linear feet of structural steel painting & flashing
• 3300 square feet of new brickwork
• 625 linear feet of new veral base flashing
• 625 linear feet of new copper counterflashing
