Battery Park City

Constructed in 2009, the upper and lower plazas were experiencing widespread leakage into the spaces below and required a major capital renovation project. Nicholson & Galloway was hired to perform the following work:

• 15,000 square feet of asphalt paving replacement
• 15,000 square feet of Siplast modified bitumen roofing system
• 3,500 square feet of granite cladding resetting and replacement
• 45 granite stair treads removed and reset
• 15,000 square feet of new reinforced concrete slab
• 70 linear feet of new trench drains
• 26 new roof drains
• 40 new exterior light fixtures
• 100 square feet of bluestone slabs reset on sidewalk
