Constructed in 1928, The New York Life Building is the last significant skyscraper in Manhattan designed by Cass Gilbert and is an Individual New York City Landmark. The building is 615 feet tall and takes up an entire city block. Nicholson & Galloway was contracted to perform the following work on this Landmark:
- 125,000 square feet water-mist limestone cleaning
- Replacement of limestone lintels, sills and ashlar
- Limestone restoration including patching and dutchmen
- Permanent rigging
